About us

Kitchy & Co is a unique range of original images that have been photographed and produced in North Yorkshire by Anthea Kitching.

Originally starting in agricultural photography Anthea has had her photographs used by many agricultural companies throughout the UK in editorial features, advertising and packaging. Anthea Kitching Photography
The card range was established in 2007 but it was only in 2012 when asked to take a picture of a pig on a doorstep did Anthea’s real style and creativeness began to develop and the Kitchy & Co range was born.

Going from strength to strength as a card range it soon became obvious that more products were needed, but unable to find local companies to produce these the decision was made to buy the equipment and make them all in house, guaranteeing the best quality practical products at affordable prices.
As our image range has grown over the years we have had 2 successful licences with companies who have produced home and giftware products that have sold across the UK and Europe.

However at the end of Dec 2018 the long running and well known Border Fine Arts has come to a final end, and our licence with them has ended.
We will be sad to see it go, but we are incredibly proud of having our images brought back to life in our very own range of BFA figurines.
The end of an era that we have been lucky to have been a small part of.

2019 and the challenge was to find more products to replace the stock that BFA produced.
Speaking to many of our customers they all seemed to prefer our own handmade products anyway, so we set about sourcing materials to make our very own placemats completely from scratch.
Throughout the year they developed and by the end of 2019 we set about making our very own Glass Chopping boards which we launched just before Christmas.

2020 We have really got the bug for making our all our own products and have replaced the Glass Coasters that we use to buy in and print using sublimation with the same method we make our Chopping boards. This gives us greater control and a much more consistent finished product.
We currently have a few other new products in testing and hope to have these available by the beginning of the show season in May.
And inbetween all that we are trying to dodge the weather and take new images.
